Music producer • Mix & recording engineer • Songwriter & arranger • Artist based in Belgium
In 2011, I borrowed my father’s cheap acoustic guitar to unknowingly start my journey into the music industry. What began with an interest to just learn some chords, quickly turned into a passion for not only playing music, but writing it as well. That same year, I stumbled across some old recording hardware in my father’s garage. With just 13 years of age, a mixing console, an ancient desktop computer, a trial version of a DAW, a couple of old speakers and a microphone of questionable quality, I recorded my first songs.
During my youth I taught myself how to play, read, write and record my songs. I had the passion to chase a career in music, but I lacked the confidence to take off. So after a detour of one year in college (in which I studied communication science), I finally realized during class that music was my true calling. In 2018, I got accepted into KASK Conservatorium in Ghent to study music production. After five wonderful years during which I was able to sharpen my skills as a producer, engineer, songwriter and arranger through classes like production, songwriting, harmony and arranging, I got my master’s degree in 2023. My skills are much wider and my equipment more advanced than in 2011, but my enthusiasm towards music is still as sky-high as back then.
